Do you prefer West or North Campus? By a small margin, the Class of 2026 has crowned North Campus as superior with 51% of the vote.
How about favorite dining halls? The senior class chimed in and voted Morrison as their favorite dining spot with 35.1% of the vote. Behind it, North and Risley tied for second, each with 12.4%. Clearly, North Campus dining was superior for the Class of 2026.
Of dining halls on West Campus, Rose won out with the greatest share of votes. It won 28.9% of the West Campus dining hall picks. Not forgetting Central Campus, a lone one senior voted Oakenshields as their favorite dining hall.
If you still have not taken Introduction to Wines, this is your sign to do so. HADM 4300: Introduction to Wines was the favorite course among the Class of 2026. Eight respondents chose the iconic course as their favorite. All other reported courses received only one or two votes.
Respondents were asked who their favorite professors were from their time at Cornell. Some respondents listed two or more professors, but most opted to list just one. Professor Melissa Smith from the Department of Statistics & Data Science, had the most votes for favorite professor. Is your favorite professor included?
The Sun asked respondents from the Class of 2026 to candidly reflect on their approval of the two Cornell presidents from their undergraduate experience.
Toggle the graph below to see how the Class of 2026 approved of both President Michael Kotlikoff and former president Martha Pollack. Most respondents felt neutral to both presidents, ranking them at a three. Respondents were slightly more favorable to former president Pollack. Only a combined 21.8% of respondents ranked their approval for Pollack at a two or a one, the two disapproving option. However, Kotlikoff received over double that percentage in disapproving ratings with 46.3%.
